The information in the database helps European citizen understand why certain ingredients are in their cosmetic products, which properties they have and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are pleased to offer the COSMILE Europe app to consumers in so many languages \u2013 13 so far. As an industry, we are committed to providing reliable information on cosmetic ingredients in a simple way and ensuring that it is accessible to as many European citizens as possible\u201d \u2013 John Chave, Director General of Cosmetics Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The app offers several ways to easily get information on cosmetic ingredients. The user can search for ingredient information by scanning the ingredients list on the label of the product, search for information on an individual ingredient manually, or scan a product barcode to retrieve information about the product and its ingredients list.
